Welcome to the Island Blues Website!
Welcome to the official website of that silly and fun little comic strip known as Island Blues. Premiering in 2010, Island Blues is a comic about a couple on a deserted island, their TV, and an exiled superhero.
The four have been through multiple adventures, chronicled in the first 200 comics, which were originally released over the last 3 years. During 2012 through early 2013, our comic strips were released twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays respectively. This has helped us build a core base of readers, both young and old alike. On June 18th, we will be starting a new series of Island Blues comics, refreshing our current characters and introducing a new one. The first 200 comics dealt with multiple story arcs, alien nemesis, criminals, and even a marriage. As we begin the next series, we are taking a simpler approach, and delving deeper into the relationships of our stranded friends while creating a new story. If you have never read our comic strip, this new series will introduce you to everyone. If you have enjoyed our comics, the new series will remind you why you keep coming back to the small island.
As always, you can subscribe to both the daily and weekly version of our comics. The weekly versions are our new comics, and are released every Tuesday and Thursday. We will still be releasing 2 new comics a week starting June 18th. Our daily comics are released Monday through Thursday, and they feature all of our older comics, as well as a monthly 5-panel special drawn for a Sunday morning.
